This one is, is a long-eared owl. It's very classic-looking owl. Like, if you saw a picture of it, you'd be like, there would be no question. 

Sometimes, you know, the kind of the unwritten code is not to reveal where the owls are, you know, so that they don't get disturbed. But I knew it was in the neighborhood, so I got on the subway and popped out at 72nd and then I saw a group of photographers, and I had my camera and came over and saw, saw the long-eared owl. 

The hardest part of all of this is trying to describe to someone where to look. You know, we're in a, you know, a bunch of tall trees here, and it's very hard to see. I find, you know, with the naked eye, you know, I have a big lens on my camera here. 

It is a solo pursuit. But when something like this happens, it brings a group of people together.
