On the ground in Nepal (Two-Way)


Nepal is recovering after a 7-point-8 magnitude earthquake hit nearly a week ago. Homes, hospitals, and historic buildings were destroyed. The death toll has surpassed 6,000 people.

The Nepalese Finance Minister says the country needs almost 2 billion dollars to rebuild. I spoke with Caroline Anning from the Nepal office of Save the Children, a non-profit that is helping with disaster relief in the capital of Kathmandu.
